At the very least 5 Kanwar Yatra pilgrims had been killed and three others injured on Thursday morning in Latehar district, Jharkhand. The fatalities and accidents occurred when their automobiles encountered a high-tension wire.
The incident came about at Tam Tam Tola within the Balumath police station space round three am. The pilgrims, who had been coming back from the Baba Baidyanath temple in Deoghar, encountered the accident when their automobile struck an electrical energy pole.
The accident prompted the high-tension wire to fall onto the automobile. The injured people have been hospitalised.
