New Delhi: The stunning incident unfolded when three folks died and eight have been injured in a landslide that occurred close to the Chidwasa area of Rudraprayad district of Uttarakhand on Sunday. The incident came about this morning on the Kedarnath Yatra route as pilgrims have been strolling from Gaurikund to Kedarnath Dham.
Following the incident, the District Management Room in Rudraprayag knowledgeable the State Catastrophe Response Pressure workforce that some folks had been trapped below particles after the landslide in that area on the Kedarnath Yatra route.
After receiving the knowledge, the SDRF workforce arrived on the scene outfitted with essential rescue gear and commenced rescue operations.
SDRF evacuated eight injured folks and transported them to the hospital. Three folks succumbed to their accidents on the scene, and the SDRF handed over their our bodies to the district police.

Reacting to the incident, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took to microblogging web site X to specific his grief and his condolences to the household of the deceased.
“The information of some pilgrims getting injured because of particles and heavy stones falling from the hill close to the Kedarnath Yatra route may be very unhappy. Reduction and rescue work is happening on the web site of the accident, I’m always in contact with the officers on this regard. I’ve given directions to supply higher therapy to the folks injured within the accident instantly. Could God grant the departed souls a spot in His ft and provides energy to the bereaved household to bear this immense sorrow,” Dhami stated.
