New Delhi: Pressure appeared on the Bengaluru Metropolis Railway Station on Friday evening when a consignment of roughly three tonnes of meat, packed in about 150 cartons, arrived from Jaipur, in line with railway sources.
Puneeth Kerehalli, a cow vigilante beforehand jailed on a homicide cost, claimed the meat was canine meat, nevertheless, meat vendor Abdul Razzaq, who ordered the consignment, rejected this allegation.
The consignment was ordered legally and confirmed that it’s sheep meat, not canine meat, he stated.
The meat dealer stated that they’ve authorized paperwork to show it and one can see the tail of the animal that was slaughtered. “It is sheep and never a canine,” he added.
He alleged that Kerehalli aimed to revenue by making false accusations. Because of the commotion, a big crowd gathered, prompting the deployment of police to the scene.
