New Delhi: A 16-year-old boy was arrested on Sunday for allegedly killing his father in a match of rage, police stated.
Police stated that the boy allegedly hit his father with a plastic pipe when the person was beating his spouse in Delhi’s Rohini, resulting in his dying.
“On Sunday, a name was obtained at 10.58 am relating to the homicide of an individual on the Aman Vigar police station,” a senior police officer stated.
The person’s physique has been preserved within the hospital for postmortem, police stated, PTI reported.
Based on the officer, the preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased would ceaselessly beat his spouse and youngsters over minor points whereas inebriated.
“On Sunday, the deceased picked up a quarrel along with his spouse and was thrashing her, when his son intervened and hit his father’s head with a plastic pipe which resulted in his dying,” stated the officer, PTI reported.
Police stated that an FIR has been registered underneath the related sections of the IPC on the Aman Vihar police station.
