One lady died, two others have been admitted to hospital whereas one other two have been reported lacking after a home collapsed within the Mogalrajapuram space of Vijayawada on Saturday.
In line with the officers, the home collapsed after a rock fell from the highest of the hill amid heavy rainfall.
In the meantime, a search operation is underway for the 2 lacking people who find themselves feared buried below the rubble.
“The incident occurred throughout the early hours after a rock fell from the highest of the hill. One lady aged 24 has died on this. Two ladies are in hospital and in secure situation. We’re trying to find one other two members there. I feel they’re contained in the particles,” an official instructed ANI.
