Zoya Akhtar recalled when an uncle known as Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara a ‘garbage film,’ throughout a spotlight group suggestions from specialists.

Whereas recalling the incident, Zoya mentioned, “I do not take each suggestions severely to be sincere. I do not hearken to every part. I’ve been shouted without delay in a spotlight group by an uncle. That’s the reason I’ve stopped going. He was producer’s father’s pal and throughout the focus group screening of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara he was like, ‘This can be a garbage film. What is that this film. What are they doing? They’re driving.’ I used to be like. Okay, Sir this film just isn’t for you. As a result of I can not do something to make this film for you. That is it.’ And it is not for him. However fortunately for me there have been some children who have been of their 20s who have been like, ‘We appreciated it, we related with it.’ So, then they began combating and I received away.”

Zoya made her directorial debut with Luck By Probability, starring Farhan Akhtar and Konkana Sen Sharma in lead roles. Her second directroial was Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, that includes Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, Farhan, Abhay Deol, Kalki Koechlin, Deepti Naval and others. The movie’s story follows three childhood associates, Arjun, Kabir, and Imran, who reunite for a three-week highway journey. They set off to Spain and meet Laila, who falls in love with Arjun and helps him overcome his compulsion to work. Kabir and his fiancée Natasha expertise vital misunderstandings, whereas Imran needs to satisfy his organic father, an artist. The highway comedy-drama launched on July 15, 2011.
