An aged visually impaired couple in Hyderabad’s Blinds Colony spent 4 days unaware of their son’s loss of life, residing in silence and isolation till neighbors seen a foul scent emanating the home on Monday and alerted the police.
The deceased, a 30-year-old man, had lived together with his dad and mom, who, attributable to their incapacity, referred to as out to him repeatedly, unaware he would not reply. Based on a PTI report citing police, the couple’s son probably handed away in his sleep 4 to 5 days prior.
Station head officer Surya Nayak from the Nagole police station shared that the couple, each of their sixties, had been left to fend for themselves within the absence of their son, their feeble voices too quiet to succeed in the neighbors. When the police arrived, they discovered the couple in a state of semi-consciousness, affected by dehydration and starvation. Officers promptly offered them with meals and water and ensured their security.
The physique has been despatched to a state-run hospital for a autopsy examination to substantiate the reason for loss of life.
Upon studying from the couple about their elder son residing in one other a part of town, the police promptly notified him of the state of affairs. The visually challenged couple have been positioned below the care of their elder son.
