She alleged that she requested CDPO Snehalata Sahoo and different officers to take her to hospital, however they ignored her pleas. Barsha additionally claimed that Snehalata mistreated her. 

Later, Barsha’s family took her to a personal hospital in Kendrapara, the place an ultrasound revealed that her child had died. 

She claimed that “psychological harassment and gross negligence” of the CDPO led to her loss and in addition filed a written grievance to the district collector, demanding strict motion in opposition to the Sahoo. 

Nilu Mohapatra, further district Justice of the Peace (ADM), Kendrapara stated, “After getting the grievance, the district administration has directed the District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO) to submit a report after investigating the matter. After getting the report, we’ll take motion.” 

Expressing concern over the incident, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida in a publish on X stated she mentioned concerning the incident with Kendrapara collector and directed him to instantly conduct an in depth investigation and submit a report. 

Reacting to the allegation, the CDPO stated she was unaware of Barsha’s struggling.
