Naxal Assault In Chhattisgarh: A tragic incident unfolded in Chhattisgarh the place a lady was killed allegedly by Naxalites on suspicion of being a police informer in Bijapur district, police stated on Sunday.
As per preliminary info, Naxalites kidnapped Yalam Sukra, 40, from Laded village underneath Madded police station limits and took her to a close-by hill on Saturday, an official stated, as reported by information company PTI. Sukra was strangled, and her physique was deserted within the space, he said.
Talking on the incident, the official said that the police group recovered a pamphlet from the Madded space committee of Maoists on the spot. Within the pamphlet, the Naxalites accused the lady of appearing as a police informer since 2017. A search operation has been launched to hint the assailants, he stated.
With this incident, Naxalites have claimed the lives of over 60 individuals thus far this 12 months within the Bastar division, comprising seven districts, together with Bijapur, police stated.
An identical incident occurred on December 6 when Naxalites killed a lady Anganwadi assistant within the Basaguda space of Bijapur, suspecting her of being a police informer, whereas two former sarpanchs (village panchayat heads) had been killed in separate locations in Bijapur on December 4.
