Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday slammed Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra for carrying a bag with “Palestine” written on it saying Uttar Pradesh is sending youth to Israel, whereas Congress is carrying a bag.
Talking within the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath mentioned, “A Congress chief was roaming round within the Parliament carrying a bag with Palestine written on it, whereas we’re sending the youth of Uttar Pradesh to Israel. Greater than 5600 youth of UP have gone to Israel for development work to date. Each youth is getting free lodging and meals, a wage of Rs 1.5 lakh monthly and full safety can also be assured.”
A row erupted on Monday when Priyanka Gandhi was seen carrying the bag throughout a Parliament session. The bag had “Palestine” written on it and several other emblems embedded in it, together with a watermelon, a logo which is usually related to Palestinian solidarity. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Monday slammed BJP remarks on her carrying a bag with “Palestine” written on it, terming them “ineffective issues.”
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra mentioned that the BJP-led central authorities ought to take some steps relating to the atrocities occurring in Bangladesh, towards minorities and Hindus. “The atrocities occurring in Bangladesh, towards minorities and Hindus…one thing needs to be performed relating to this. Talks needs to be held with Bangladesh govt relating to this…and they need to not say such ineffective issues” Vadra instructed reporters.
