New Delhi: AAP nationwide convenor Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday alleged that the BJP, if voted to energy within the Delhi Meeting elections scheduled for February 5, plans to demolish all slums within the nationwide capital.
Arvind Kejriwal, addressing a press convention in Shakur Basti, accused the BJP of placing land acquisition above the welfare of slum residents. The previous chief minister claimed, “They need your votes first and your land after the elections.”
He criticised the BJP’s ‘Jahan Jhuggi Wahan Makaan’ scheme, calling it a sham. “Prior to now 5 years, they’ve constructed solely 4,700 flats for slum dwellers,” he stated.
Kejriwal additional alleged that the BJP plans to grab land occupied by slum residents with out offering correct housing.
“They need your votes first and your land after the elections,” Kejriwal stated, referring to the BJP. At a press convention in Shakur Basti, the previous chief minister accused the BJP of valuing land acquisition over the welfare of slum residents.
Arvind Kejriwal was joined by senior AAP chief Satyendar Jain on the press convention in Shakur Basti. Jain, the get together’s candidate from the constituency, is in search of his fourth consecutive win after victories in 2013, 2015, and 2020.
Delhi will vote on February 5, with outcomes to be declared on February 8. The AAP, which secured 62 out of 70 seats within the 2020 elections, goals for a 3rd consecutive full time period.
