The DMK has defended the Tamil Nadu authorities’s determination to exchange the Rupee image with the Tamil ‘Ru’ image within the state Price range, calling it a protest in opposition to the Centre’s insurance policies.
DMK spokesperson Saravanan Annadurai stated the transfer was geared toward expressing the state’s opposition to the Union authorities.
