New Delhi: The College Grants Fee (UGC) on Wednesday declared 20 universities as “faux” and never empowered to confer any diploma with Delhi having eight such establishments, the very best.
“It has come to the discover of the UGC that quite a few establishments are providing levels in opposite to the provisions of the UGC Act. Levels awarded by such universities shall neither be recognised nor legitimate for greater schooling or employment function. These universities aren’t empowered to confer any diploma,” UGC secretary Manish Joshi mentioned.
These universities are “faux”, he mentioned whereas releasing an inventory of those establishments. Delhi has eight “faux” universities — All India Institute of Public and Bodily Well being Sciences; Business College Ltd, Daryaganj; United Nations College; Vocational College; ADR-Centric Juridical College; Indian Establishment of Science and Engineering; Viswakarma Open College for Self-Employment; and Adhyatmik Vishwavidyalaya (Religious College), in response to the UGC.
Uttar Pradesh has 4 such universities – Gandhi Hindi Vidyapith; Nationwide College of Electro Advanced Homeopathy; Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose College (Open college); and Bhartiya Shiksha Parishad.
Andhra Pradesh and West Bengal have two such universities every. These are Christ New Testomony Deemed College and Bible Open College of India in Andhra Pradesh, and Indian Institute of Different Medication and Institute of Different Medication and Analysis in West Bengal.
