NEW DELHI: The continued Lanka Premier League (LPL) is encountering a singular downside. R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo has now witnessed the looks of snakes throughout two matches thus far.

The newest incident occurred on Saturday, when a snake(s) appeared twice throughout the match between B-Love Kandy and Jaffna Kings.
In a viral video on social media, a snake was seen intruding into the sphere throughout Jaffna’s chase. The reptile was slowly crawling forward when Kandy pacer Isuru Udana noticed it and obtained terrified. The pacer, who nearly stamped on the snake, was then seen making a fast escape. Fortunate escape certainly.

Later, a snake was seen wriggling to the electrical wires on the boundary line, scaring cameramen there. The visuals on social media have two cameramen watching the snake from a secure distance, leaving their work station vacant.
Chasing 179, Jaffna Kings have been 140 for five in 17.1 overs in opposition to B-Love Kandy with Shoaib Malik (41* off 27) and Thisara Perera (29* off 16) including a fifty-run stand when the snake made its second look. Jaffna completed eight runs brief ultimately to lose the sport to Kandy.
