Padikkal, who performed two T20Is for India in 2021, was injured earlier this month through the Deodhar Trophy.
Padikkal has been dominated out of the Maharaja KSCA T20 Trophy, for which he was chosen by Gulbarga Mystics.
“I had a left-thumb fracture through the Deodhar Trophy. So, I needed to endure a minor surgical procedure to get that fastened. I might be out of the sport for in all probability one other three to 4 weeks. Hopefully, I will be again on the sector quickly,” Padikkal instructed Fancode.
The left-handed batter had thumb surgical procedure and posted about it on social media.
