New Delhi: Miss Diva Universe 2023 Shweta Sharda on Tuesday opened up about representing India on the upcoming 72nd Miss Universe pageant later in November this 12 months in El Salvador.
Talking to ANI, Shweta stated, “I’m very grateful to have gotten this chance to characterize my nation on the Miss Universe pageant. Everybody goals of representing their nation on any world stage at the least as soon as in his or her lifetime. I’m privileged to have gotten this chance and I’ll put my coronary heart and soul into it. I simply need to win the pageant and produce the crown again to India.”
Hailing from Chandigarh, 22-year-old Shweta relocated to Mumbai on the age of 16 in a bid to chase her goals. She has featured in a number of dance exhibits together with ‘DID’, ‘Dance Deewane’ and ‘ Jhalak Dikhlaja’.
On whether or not she was planning a foray into movies, she stated, “Since childhood, I’ve at all times imagined myself as an actress. The Miss Diva Universe 2023 grand finale noticed reigning Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu, Pratik Gandhi, Srinidhi Shetty, and Sangeeta Bijlani on the judges panel.
Three Indian beauties gained the Miss Universe crown, with Sushmita Sen bagging the title in 1994, Lara Dutta in 2000 and Harnaz Sandhu in 2022.
