New Delhi: Actor-turned-politician Kangana Ranawat is all set to embark on a brand new journey as a politician. Ranawat is ready to contest from her ‘Janmabhoomi’ Mandi parliamentary constituency on BJP ticket within the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections. Kangana interacted for the primary time with the media after the BJP declared her for the Mandi constituency on Sunday and conveyed her greeting to the residents for the Holi celebration and thanked PM Modi, and JP Nadda for selecting her to be the social gathering’s candidate From Mandi.
Talking to ANI, Kangana expressed heartfelt gratitude to PM Modi, Residence Minister Amit Shah and BJP Chief JP Nadda for giving her an opportunity to contest her ‘Janmabhoomi’, she referred to as it an emotional motion for her household too.
“I lengthen greetings to everybody on Holi. That is my ‘janmabhoomi’ and it has referred to as me again, I’m lucky…In the event that they select me, I’ll serve them. Himachal Pradesh Congress Chief, Pratibha Singh, expressed skepticism relating to Kangana Ranaut’s political candidacy in Mandi citing her sudden entry into politics. “We’re joyful that she too has acquired a possibility. However she is a star. What function she performs along with her sudden entry into politics must be seen,” Pratibha Singh stated.
In the meantime, the announcement was made on Sunday when BJP launched the fifth listing of candidates wherein they’ve revealed the names of 111 candidates and their constituency to contest within the Common Election. The listing consists of many new faces like Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut from Himachal Pradesh Mandi constituency and well-known tv actor Arun Govil from Uttar Pradesh’s Meerut constituency.
