New Delhi: The Aam Aadami Get together (AAP) on Friday alleged that folks affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Get together (BJP) tried to assault Arvind Kejriwal throughout his ‘padyatra’ in West Delhi’s Vikaspuri. AAP chief Saurabh Bhardwaj claimed that BJP’s ‘coward’ try was triggered by seeing Kejriwal going among the many plenty and getting their ‘love and affection’.
Delhi Chief Minister Atishi took to ‘X’ to slam BJP, she wrote, “Immediately, BJP bought @ArvindKejriwal ji attacked throughout his padyatra in Vikaspuri. First, they filed a faux case towards Arvind Kejriwal, arrested him, conspired to kill him by stopping his insulin and when the court docket launched him, BJP is getting its goons to assault him.” She additional posted an image from the ‘padyatra’ exhibiting the person who reportedly attacked AAP convener Kejriwal. In the meantime, AAP’s Bhardwaj charged, “We wish to make it clear that if Kejriwal faces any hazard to his life or any hurt is finished to him, solely the BJP can be answerable for it.”
Nonetheless, the BJP has rejected AAP’s claims. Delhi BJP Chief Virendra Sachdeva took a pointy jab at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging he’s evading accountability when confronted by the general public. In a press release to IANS, Sachdeva highlighted, “Why is Kejriwal upset when the general public questions him at his doorstep? Immediately in Vikaspuri, locals confronted him over soiled water, asking him and his MLAs to drink it. This upset him.”

“Kejriwal, you’ve got deceived and looted Delhi over roads, electrical energy, and water. The persons are demanding solutions, however your MLAs proceed to use the town,” Sachdeva added.
Aam Aadmi Get together leaders, together with Kejriwal, are conducting padyatras (foot marches) throughout varied meeting constituencies within the metropolis as a part of their marketing campaign for the February 2025 elections.
