Bharti Airtel is re-farming the mid-band spectrum of its present bands, the corporate introduced on Monday. In a press launch, Airtel revealed that its re-farming initiative consists of the enlargement of 5G companies on its 1800, 2100, and 2300 MHz bands. Airtel says it has efficiently performed a pilot for standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) community switches in Rewari, Chennai and Bhubaneswar. Whereas SA 5G networks function independently of 4G networks, NSA entails the deployment of 5G infrastructure over the prevailing 4G protection.
