The Punjab authorities has ordered closure of all faculties within the state until August 26, 2023. The transfer from the state authorities within the view of floods adopted by heavy rainfall in a number of districts of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh. Punjab Schooling Minister Harjot Singh Bains introduced the closure of faculties within the state on X (previously Twitter) as we speak.
“As per the directions of Honorable Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Maan ji, maintaining in thoughts the floods attributable to heavy rains in varied districts of Punjab together with Himachal Pradesh, the Punjab Authorities has ordered holidays with fast impact in all authorities/aided/recognised and personal faculties of the state for security causes. The vacations are to be noticed with fast impact beginning as we speak (23rd August 2023) until 26th August 2023 (Saturday),” Punjab minister Harjot Singh Bains introduced.
