The Bharatiya Janata Occasion’s (BJP) girls’s wing in Tamil Nadu on Friday staged a protest towards the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) authorities to demand justice for a pupil who was sexually assaulted at Anna College in Chennai.
The ladies members of the BJP main the “Justice rally” from Madurai to Chennai had been later detained by the police.
“The DMK is frightened by this gathering. Everyone seems to be protesting inside the framework of the regulation, demanding justice for the lady who was subjected to sexual assault at Anna College.

The BJP’s state unit has escalated its criticism of the ruling DMK over a pupil sexual assault case, with plans for the rally from Madurai to Chennai to demand justice for the sufferer.
Saying the protest on ‘X,’ BJP state president Ok. Annamalai alleged that the accused is linked to the DMK and accused the federal government of making an attempt to “conceal the reality” within the matter.
Condemning the incident and the alleged cover-up, the BJP’s state Mahila Morcha, led by its president Umarathi Rajan, spearheaded the rally, which started in Madurai right this moment.
Earlier on Thursday, Tamil Nadu BJP President Ok. Annamalai attacked the DMK authorities over the state’s deteriorating regulation and order state of affairs, citing disturbing statistics on rising crimes.

The statements comply with the alleged sexual assault of a second-year pupil of Anna College on the Anna College campus on December 23 evening.
The Madras Excessive Courtroom has ordered the formation of a Particular Investigation Crew (SIT) comprising three IPS officers to research the Anna College alleged sexual assault case.
