After a US District Courtroom in New York charged Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani, linking him and others to an alleged bribery and fraud scheme, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Thursday stated that Adani has violated each Indian and American regulation and dedicated a rip-off value roughly Rs 2000 Crore. Lok Sabha LoP additionally criticised the Prime Minister, accusing him of defending Mr Adani and being concerned in corruption.
“I’m questioning why Mr Adani is working round a free man on this nation. CMs have been arrested…Adani has carried out apparently one Rs 2000 Crore rip-off and a number of others in all probability however he’s working scot-free…Now we have been elevating this time and again…It’s a vindication of what we’ve been saying, the PM is defending Mr Adani and the PM is concerned in corruption with Mr Adani,” Gandhi stated.

On US prosecutors charging Gautam Adani and others in alleged Photo voltaic Power contract bribery case, Congress chief questions why Adani isn’t in jail.
“American company has stated that he has dedicated crime in India, he has supplied bribes, bought energy at inflated costs. PM isn’t doing something, he cannot do something. Even when he desires to do one thing, he cannot as a result of he’s underneath the management of Adani,” he added.
Reacting to Adani’s arrest or investigation, Gandhi stated, “Notice it down, he has carried out a rip-off of Rs 2000 Crores. However I assure you, this man will neither be arrested nor face an investigation as a result of PM is linked to him.”
