In its newest transfer, round 1,300 ME (Center English) Madrassas have been transformed to ME Colleges in Assam. The Assam authorities directed the conversion of madrassas to colleges with instant impact by means of a state authorities order, information company PTI reported. Issued by the Assam Elementary Schooling Director Suranjana Senapati on Wednesday, the federal government order was reported as saying that 1,281 Higher Major ME Madrassas throughout the state below the Directorate of Elementary Schooling shall be generally known as “M E Faculty” with instant impact.
