Within the grievance filed on April 24, 2022, in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur, Nikita Singhania, who’s from Jaunpur, obtained married to Subhash levelled allegations that the techie used to beat her up and commenced treating the husband-wife relationship “like a beast,” as reported by information company PTI.
In accordance with the grievance, Nikita had acknowledged that her husband, his mother and father, and brothers-in-law have been accused. Subsequently, an FIR was lodged below provisions of the Dowry Prohibition Act. They lived in Bengaluru and used to work there. In her grievance, Nikita alleged that after her marriage, Subhash and her in-laws demanded Rs 10 lakh as they weren’t happy with what her mother and father gave them.
She additional accused that her in-laws began torturing her “bodily and mentally” for dowry. “My husband began to beat me up after ingesting alcohol and began treating the husband-wife relationship with me like a beast. He used to switch my total wage from my account to his account by threatening me,” Nikita claimed within the grievance, as quoted by PTI.
The techie’s spouse additional claimed that the repeated harassment by her in-laws led to the deterioration within the well being of her father, who died on August 17, 2019, as a result of a stroke. Subhash, who labored for a non-public agency in Bengaluru, died by suicide on Monday, alleging harassment by his spouse and her relations.
