Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s helicopter ran out of gas throughout election campaigning on Sunday, a detailed aide mentioned. After addressing a public assembly in Masaurhi, on the outskirts of Patna, alongside senior celebration chief and JD(U)’s Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Kumar Jha, the CM was knowledgeable by the pilot that the helicopter could not take off because it had run out of gas.
Consequently, Kumar, alongside together with his celebration MP and entourage, proceeded to their subsequent vacation spot by street for one more poll-related engagement.
The CM had gone to Masaurhi to deal with a public assembly in favour of NDA nominee Ram Kripal Yadav.
Speaking to PTI, JD (U) MP Sanjay Jha, who was accompanying the CM, confirmed the incident, stating that the helicopter required extra gas to fly.
“The pilot advised us that refuelling would take a while, So, we left Masaurhi by street to a different vacation spot. Later, the identical helicopter returned for us after refuelling,” he mentioned.
Jha emphasised that there was no lapse on the a part of the CM’s safety, as reported in a piece of the media.
