BJP Minister Confirms Chhattisgarh Could Undertake UPs Kanwar Yatra Identify Plate Order

A controversial order has been issued in Uttar Pradesh and different BJP-ruled states, mandating the show of identify plates outdoors accommodations, dhabas, fruit outlets, and different institutions alongside the Kanwar Yatra route. This transfer has sparked a political firestorm, with the opposition launching a scathing assault on the federal government. Now a minister within the BJP-ruled Chhattisgarh has confirmed that the government is contemplating implementing UP govt’s controversial order on Kanwar Yatra eateries, as per a report by IBC24 reported.

Tank Ram Verma, who’s the Minister of Sports activities and Youth Welfare, Income and Catastrophe Administration and a Mla from Balodabazar Meeting mentioned that the state authorities would contemplate implementing related measures and take applicable motion. Verma was talking at a gathering of the BJP district working committee in Dhantari.

The minister credited Prime Minister Modi’s welfare schemes for the BJP’s victory within the state and accused the Congress of constructing baseless statements out of frustration. He highlighted the achievements of the Vishnudeo Sai authorities in its six-month tenure.

The order has drawn flak from opposition leaders, together with Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal, who slammed the federal government for selling “divisive politics”. Sibal argued that such strikes wouldn’t contribute to the nation’s growth and urged Prime Minister Modi, Residence Minister Amit Shah, and the Chief Minister to keep away from controversial points that serve solely political functions.
