ICC Champions Trophy returned to the cricket calendar after a niche of eight years with Pakistan the designated hosts. It’s a monumental second for Pakistan and the cricket board as they host their first main ICC event because the 1996 ODI World Cup – 29 years in the past.
The event shall be performed in a hybrid mannequin with India taking part in their matches in Dubai as a result of safety issues. Remainder of the groups, in the meantime, will play within the three venues in Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Group B, in the meantime, options Australia, England, South Africa and Afghanistan.
