ICC Champions Trophy returned to the cricket calendar after a niche of eight years with Pakistan the designated hosts. It’s a monumental second for Pakistan and the cricket board as they host their first main ICC event because the 1996 ODI World Cup – 29 years in the past.
The event shall be performed in a hybrid mannequin with India taking part in their matches in Dubai as a result of safety issues. Remainder of the groups, in the meantime, will play within the three venues in Pakistan – Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. The event received underway with Pakistan going through New Zealand, each in Group A, in Karachi. India and Bangladesh are the opposite groups within the group. Group B, in the meantime, options Australia, England, South Africa and Afghanistan.
