Taipei: The Ministry of Nationwide Defence (MND) on Wednesday detected 24 plane from the Folks’s Liberation Military (PLA) and 6 vessels from the Folks’s Liberation Military Navy (PLAN) working round Taiwan till 6 a.m. (UTC+8). Based on the MND, 21 of the plane crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, southwestern, and japanese Air Defence Identification Zone (ADIZ).
Sharing a put up on X, MND wrote, “24 PLA plane and 6 PLAN vessels working round Taiwan had been detected up till 6 a.m. (UTC+8) as we speak.” It added, “21 of the plane crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, southwestern and japanese ADIZ. We’ve monitored the scenario and responded accordingly.”
On Tuesday, the MND detected 22 PLA plane of varied sorts, together with J-16, KJ-500, and others.
