The climate division has issued a ‘yellow’ alert for gentle to reasonable rain over the areas of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana-Chandigarh, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gangetic West Bengal on Wednesday, August 14.
