The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Invoice, 2024, was handed by the Rajya Sabha on February 9. The Lok Sabha handed it on February 6. President Murmu gave approval to the invoice on February 12, turning it right into a legislation.

The Act goals to stop unfair means within the public examinations carried out by the Union Public Service Fee (UPSC), the Workers Choice Fee (SSC), the railways, banking recruitment examinations and the Nationwide Testing Company (NTA) amongst others.
