28 hospitalised as a result of snakebites throughout Cyclone Dana Bhubaneswar, Oct 26 (PTI) As many as 28 folks, together with 13 ladies and a physician, have been hospitalised after being bitten by snakes throughout Cyclone Dana, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi mentioned on Saturday.
Briefing the media after taking inventory of the post-cyclone state of affairs within the state, Majhi mentioned all 28 snakebite circumstances have been reported within the worst cyclone-affected districts of Kendrapara, Bhadrak and Balasore.
“The snakebite victims have been instantly rushed to close by hospitals and they’re doing properly after remedy,” Majhi mentioned.
The injured physician was admitted to SCB Medical School and Hospital in Cuttack and his well being situation is okay, he mentioned.
Dr Babul Mohanty, who was deputed to the first well being Centre in Mahakalpara in Kendrapara district to offer healthcare providers to folks in the course of the cyclone, was bitten by a snake whereas going to alleviate himself.
