A big breach within the Munak Canal has led to extreme flooding in a residential space. The JJ Colony in Bawana has been submerged, inflicting residents to wade by means of knee-deep and even waist-deep water on the roads.
The flooding resulted from a breach within the barrage of the Munak Canal in North Delhi. A video has surfaced displaying the in depth waterlogging, with residents strolling by means of waist-deep water and water inundating properties. All the space seems to be closely affected by the floodwaters.

Saurabh Bhardwaj, a minister within the Arvind Kejriwal authorities, addressed the difficulty, stating, “Bawana has a Profession Lined Channel (CLC) that receives water from Haryana. We acquired data final evening that the embankment had been breached. Delhi Jal Board officers are on the scene. I’ve directed the Chief Engineer of the Flood Division to evaluate the scenario and supply help to the Jal Board.”
The breach occurred round 11 pm final evening, inflicting important water injury and elevating issues among the many residents of JJ Colony in Bawana. Efforts are underway to handle the scenario and mitigate additional injury.
