Delhi Mayor Polls: Aam Aadmi Occasion (AAP) candidate Mahesh Kumar Khichi was elected as Delhi’s new mayor on Thursday, and stated cleanliness of the nationwide capital will likely be his precedence.
Khichi, the AAP councillor from Karol Bagh’s Dev Nagar ward, defeated BJP’s Kishan Lal (Shakurpur ward) by a slim margin of three votes. Out of complete 265 votes, Khichi received 133 and Lal secured 130 whereas 2 votes had been declared invalid.
