New Delhi: The Delhi authorities introduced a compensation of Rs 10 lakh on Friday to the households of all those that drowned and misplaced their lives after the acute rainfall within the nationwide capital.
In an official communication to the income division, Delhi minister Atishi mentioned it has been reported there have been a number of deaths as a result of drowning on June 28, after the acute rainfall in Delhi.
In a publish on X, Atishi mentioned, “A number of deaths have been reported on 28th June, after excessive rainfall of 228mm in 24 hours. The households of all those that misplaced their lives might be given a compensation of ₹10 lakhs.”
