Air India flight diverted: An Air India flight going from Delhi to San Francisco was diverted to Magadan in Russia as a result of engine failure on Tuesday. Air India official mentioned that emergency touchdown of the flight has been carried out in Russia. All 216 passengers and 16 crew members aboard the flight are secure.
Air India spokesperson mentioned that there was a technical fault in one of many engines of Air India flight AI173 going from Delhi to San Francisco. The flight with 216 passengers and 16 crew was diverted and landed safely at Magadan airport in Russia.
