New Delhi: The Uttar Pradesh authorities, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has mandated that shopkeepers, whether or not operating a resort, dhaba, or fruit stall, have to show their names. Reportedly, an incident unfolded at Sakshi Dhaba in Muzaffarnagar the place police visited to confirm if a dhaba with a Hindu title was being operated by a Muslim or Hindu. After confirming the proprietor as Lokesh Bharti, police demanded the names of all staff, revealing that 4 had been Muslim.
