Farmers Halt March To Delhi, Declare 17 Protesters Injured In Tear Fuel Shelling

New Delhi: Farmers protesting on the Haryana-Punjab border suspended their march to Delhi on Saturday. The choice adopted accidents attributable to tear gasoline shelling by Haryana safety personnel, in response to PTI. Punjab farmer chief Sarwan Singh Pandher introduced the choice to halt their march, stating, “The 2 boards have determined to name again our ‘jatha’,” whereas chatting with reporters. 

Farmers’ chief additional claimed that about 17-18 farmers sustained accidents through the Haryana safety personnel motion. Farmer chief Manjit Singh Rai alleged that safety personnel used rubber bullets. He added that one farmer was severely injured within the incident. Nonetheless, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Ambala Cantt, Rajat Gulia, denied the allegation.

Earlier in the present day, Haryana safety personnel used tear gasoline shells and water cannons to disperse 101 farmers trying to march in the direction of Delhi from the Shambhu border. The protesters had been halted at barricades arrange by the authorities.
