Gram Panchayat Climate Forecast: Key Reality About Govt Initiatives And How It Will Assist

Panchayati Raj Minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh and MoS Dr Jitendra Singh launched the Gram Panchayat-Degree Climate Forecasting initiative. This program, which is in collaboration with the Indian Meteorological Division (IMD) and the Ministry of Earth Sciences, goals to empower rural communities, improve catastrophe preparedness, and promote sustainable agriculture, benefiting farmers nationwide.

In accordance with the official launch, Union Minister Raj Shri Rajiv Ranjan Singh emphasised that climate forecasting on the Gram Panchayat Degree is necessary in the direction of empowering the Indian economic system and enhancing the Ease of Residing for rural populations. These initiatives permit Panchayats to handle local weather challenges and enhance decision-making for agriculture and catastrophe preparedness. 

Minister of State for Science and Know-how & Earth Sciences Shri (Dr.) Jitendra Singh praised the collaboration between MoPR and IMD and asserted that the provision of climate forecasts on the Gram Panchayat degree will considerably enhance catastrophe preparedness.
