The Bharatiya Janata Get together on Friday launched a scathing assault on the ruling Congress in Karnataka after Chief Minister Siddaramaiah introduced his report 16th Price range. The BJP mentioned that appeasement is at its peak within the Congress regime. Taking to X, BJP listed out measures introduced within the price range, particularly for the Muslim neighborhood together with reservations for Muslim contractors.
“Reservation for Muslims in authorities contracts; Rs 50,000 help for Muslim easy marriages; Rs 150 crore for infrastructure improvement of Waqf properties & graveyards; Rs 50 lakh for Muslim cultural applications; New ITI school to be arrange in Muslim-dominated areas; 50% price concession for Muslim college students underneath KEA; Residential PU school for Muslim women in Ullal city; Improve in Nationwide & International Scholarships for Muslim college students; Enlargement of Bengaluru’s Haj Bhavan with extra buildings; Self-defense coaching for Muslim lady college students,” the BJP listed out the pro-Muslim schemes whereas including, “What about SCs, STs, and OBCs? Completely nothing!”

BJP state president Vijayendra Yediyurappa mentioned that the ‘appeasement price range’ lacks actual progress initiatives. “Karnataka Price range 2025-26: A Congress Blueprint for Appeasement, Not Progress! Whereas farmers battle with money owed & crop losses, rural Karnataka suffers from an absence of roads, energy & irrigation, SC/ST hostels stay underfunded, youth are disadvantaged of talent improvement & jobs, and Congress has prioritized appeasement over actual improvement,” he mentioned.

The BJP state president additional added, “The place is the price range for actual progress? Farmers, youth & rural Karnataka are left behind whereas Congress focuses solely on its vote financial institution. This isn’t governance, this can be a betrayal of Karnataka’s future!”
He additional slammed the Price range for not having proposals for main funding in rural employment and alleged that job creation has been sidelined whereas vote financial institution politics took middle stage.
