Haridwar: Demolishes Unlawful Development At Laksar Tehsil Mosque

The administration demolished an unauthorised development on Thursday at a mosque in Laksar tehsil, officers mentioned.

Laksar Tehsildar Pratap Singh Chauhan reported that the unauthorized work was happening on vacant public land related to the mosque and has now been eliminated.

Hindu Jagran Manch staged a protest in opposition to the development work on the mosque and filed a grievance with the sub-district Justice of the Peace of Laksar. Based on PTI, throughout the investigation, the development was deemed unlawful.

Chauhan acknowledged that the administration instructed the builders to cease the unlawful development on the mosque, however they endured.

He talked about that the builder claimed to have the mandatory permissions however was unable to supply any paperwork.

As per PTI reviews, Chauhan acknowledged that, following this, the administration demolished the continued development with a heavy police presence.

Jot Singh Pundir, the president of the Laksar unit of Hindu Jagran Manch mentioned that a number of years in the past the neighborhood had made unlawful development on railway land,  which was subsequently eliminated by order of the Excessive Court docket.

He alleged that after the unlawful development was faraway from the railway land, the group started developing illegally within the Laksar locality.
