The chopper carrying the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi reportedly met with a tough touchdown on Sunday. As per report by Reuters, the rescue groups are on their approach to the location.

As per the company’ report, the Iranian media has given contradictory assertion concerning the accident. There has not been any official affirmation of the matter but. 

President Raisi was touring with Iran’s International Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian, the governor of East Azerbaijan province, and different officers, repored the Related Press citing IRNA. Raisi was travelling in Iran’s East Azebaijin province, when the incident occured close to Jolfa, situated 600 kilometeres northwest of Tehran, reported AP. 

A neighborhood authorities official additionally talked about the phrase “crash” to explain the incident however admitted to an Iranian newspaper that he had not but visited the location. 

Earlier on Sunday, Raisi met with President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on their shared border to formally open the Qiz Qalasi Dam, which was in-built cooperation on the Aras River.
