Jharkhand Election Dates 2024: The Election Fee of India introduced the dates for the Meeting Polls for Jharkhand on Tuesday. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, together with the 2 Election Commissioners – Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu introduced the main points for the polls. The state will go to the polls in two phases beginning November 13.
In Jharkhand, there are 24 districts. There are 44 normal seats out of the 81 seats. There are 2.6 crore electors together with 1.29 cr feminine, 1.31 crore male. There are over 11.84 lakh first time voters aged between 18-19 and a complete of 66.84 lakh younger voters aged between 20-29 years, mentioned CEC Rajeev Kumar on October 15. There are 3.67 lakh PwD voters and 1,706 voters aged over 100. There are complete of 29,562 polling stations together with 5,042 city and 24,520 rural polling cubicles.
As per the Election Fee of India developments, the 81 legislative meeting seats of Jharkhand will go to the polls in two phases as a substitute of 5 just like the final elections. The counting of votes will happen on November 23.

The time period of the Jharkhand State Meeting is ready to run out on January 5, 2025, with elections scheduled for 81 constituencies (44 Basic, 9 SC, 28 ST) throughout the state.
In 2019, the Jharkhand meeting elections had been held in 5 phases between November 30 and December 20. The counting of votes was held on December 21. Within the meeting elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha obtained 30 seats whereas the Congress gained 16 seats. The BJP gained 25 seats, the AJSU two after which JVM(P) led by Babulal Marandi obtained three seats. Two months after the meeting ballot outcomes, Marandi merged his JVM occasion with the BJP in February 2020.
