Owaisi Parliament Speech: AIMIM chief and Hyderabad Lok Sabha MP Asaduddin Owaisi has warned the federal government that implementing the Waqf Modification Invoice in its present type might result in social instability. Emphasizing his issues, Owaisi cautioned the federal government in opposition to shifting ahead with the invoice. The Waqf modification invoice has been cleared by the Joint Parliamentary Committee with 14-11 voting and is more likely to be tabled in Parliament quickly.

He additional stated that each Muslim is proud Indian and will not permit their lands to be snatched away. “As a result of, as a proud Indian Muslim, I can’t lose an inch of my Masjid. However, opposition Members of Parliament Kalyan Banerjee (Lok Sabha) and Md. Nadimul Haque (Rajya Sabha) have strongly protested the expunction of key parts of their dissent notes submitted to the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) on the Waqf (Modification) Invoice, 2024. The dissent notes, submitted after the draft report of the Waqf (Modification) Invoice was accredited with 14 members in favour and 11 in opposition to, criticized the committee’s proceedings and suggestions.
