Maharashtra: Amravati Specific Collides With Truck In Jalgaon, No Accidents Reported

Restoration work started on Friday following a collision between a rushing truck and a practice at Bodwad Station within the Bhusawal division of Central Railway in Maharashtra early this morning.


The incident concerned Prepare No. 12111, which was en route from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Amravati.

In line with Swapnil Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Central Railway, the accident occurred round 4:30 am when a truck crossed the railway monitor at a closed location, colliding with the practice. Happily, no accidents had been reported. Nevertheless, the incident brought about a disruption to rail visitors within the space.

The truck collided with the Mumbai-Amravati Specific at Bodwad Railway Station within the Bhusawal division, between the Bhusawal and Badnera sections.

“This morning in the present day, within the Bhusawal division at Bodwad Station, practice no. 12111, which was operating from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus to Amravati, had an incident. A truck had unauthorisedly crossed the monitor at a location which was closed…There was no damage…However due to this incident, there was disruption to the visitors and the visitors has now been restored and trains are being run. The incident occurred round 4.30 am, and the visitors has now been restored.” the spokesperson said.

Railway authorities acted swiftly to handle the scenario, and practice providers have since resumed regular operations.
