On his remarks over Shiv Sena chief Shaina NC, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Arvind Sawant stated, “… I have never taken her identify. Help from Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena
Shrikant Shinde, MP and son of Eknath Shinde, expressed his disapproval of Sawant’s comment, accusing him and others in opposition of routinely demeaning girls.
“The opposition doesn’t need girls to be empowered,” Shrikant Shinde stated. “Arvind Sawant made an objectionable remark in opposition to our candidate, calling her ‘imported maal’.
