Kolkata: A minor lady was allegedly raped by her tutor in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district and the accused has been arrested on Friday, police mentioned.
Appearing on a grievance filed by the sufferer’s dad and mom, District Police officers arrested the accused, a Railways worker, from the federal government quarter allotted to him.
Preliminary investigations revealed that apart from working as a railway employees, the accused used to show native college students on weekends.
As per the grievance, the sufferer was in a state of shock for fairly a while, following which she was taken to a counsellor. After some counselling periods, the sufferer revealed concerning the ordeal.
As per the grievance, the accused had been molesting the sufferer for fairly a while and one night raped her when nobody was his quarter.
The accused even threatened the sufferer with dire penalties if she revealed the incident to anybody.
After she revealed the whole incident, her dad and mom lodged a proper grievance with the native police station following which the accused was arrested.
The accused has been booked beneath totally different sections of the Safety of Kids from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012.
