NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence hosted a gathering of India’s best athletes, brimming with dedication as they put together to embark on their journey to the distinguished Paris Olympic Video games.
Amongst them was the reigning Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra, whose distinctive javelin-throwing prowess has introduced immense pleasure to the nation.
Prime Minister Modi engaged in a pleasant alternate with Neeraj Chopra, reminding him of a cherished delicacy from his residence state – the mouthwatering ‘chooma’ lovingly ready by his mom.
“Mera choorma abhi tak aaya nahi (I have not acquired my choorma but),” PM Modi jokingly requested, as quoted by IANS.

“Is baar Haryana wala choorma khilayenge sir, pichli baar Delhi ka cheeni wala wala khaya tha” (This time I’ll deal with you with choorma from Haryana; final time we had the sugary one from Delhi),” replied Chopra.
The Prime Minister jokingly expressed his eager for the selfmade choorma, including, “Mujhe tumhari maa ke haath ka choorma khana hai (I wish to have choorma made by your mom).”
After their humorous banter, Prime Minister Modi wholeheartedly wished Neeraj and all the Indian contingent the easiest for the Paris Olympics. His phrases of encouragement, urging them to remain match and injury-free, resonated with the athletes’ dedication and resilience, instilling in them a renewed sense of confidence and motivation.
