In a tragic incident, seven folks, together with a seven-year-old woman, have been killed after a fireplace broke out early Sunday morning in a double-storey shop-cum-residential construction in Mumbai, in accordance with Zee Information TV.
The incident occurred at 5.20 am at Siddharth Colony in Chembur space, police mentioned, PTI reported.
The bottom ground of the construction was used as a store and the higher ground as residence, the official mentioned.
The blaze began within the electrical wiring and installations on the bottom ground earlier than spreading to the higher ground. They categorized it as a “level-one” hearth, an official added.
The reason for the blaze has not but been decided.
