New Delhi: Native practice providers between Kasara and Titwala stations in Thane district, Maharashtra, adjoining to Mumbai, had been suspended on Sunday morning following heavy rains and a tree fall throughout the world, officers mentioned.
At round 6.30 am, soil fell onto the tracks between Atgaon and Thansit stations as a consequence of heavy rains and a tree fall blocked tracks close to Vashind station. This disrupting rail site visitors on the bustling Kalyan-Kasara route, they mentioned.
“Practice providers between Kasara and Titwala have been suspended briefly,” a spokesperson of the Central Railway (CR) mentioned, PTI reported.
The official knowledgeable that the tracks had been declared unsafe at round 6.30 am.
One other CR spokesperson mentioned that an overhead gear (OHE) pole tilted and the pantograph of a practice received entangled close to Vashind.
Restoration work was in progress and efforts had been being made to clear the tracks as quickly as attainable, they added.
