Naxal Assault: Two CRPF Personnel Killed In IED Blast In Chhattisgarh’s Sukma

New Delhi: Two jawans of the Central Reserve Police Drive (CRPF) have been killed after an IED blast planted by Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma districts on Sunday, police mentioned. 

The incident passed off underneath the Jagargunda PS limits in Sukma district between Silger and Tekulagudem of Chhattisgarh, police mentioned. 

Extra SP Akash Rao knowledgeable that the 2 our bodies of two jawans have been introduced and the search operation is underway. “Two jawans of CRPF CoBRA 201 BN misplaced their lives… CRPF, CoBRA and police reached the spot. The our bodies of the 2 jawans have been introduced out safely. The search operation is underway on the location,” he mentioned.

The killed safety personnel have been a part of the Commando Battalion for Resolute Motion (CoBRA) 201 battalion and recognized as Vishnu R (35), from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, and different personnel have been recognized as Shailendra (29) from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

CoBRA battalion is a specialised department compelled to undertake operations of guerrilla and jungle warfare, particularly tailor-made for addressing the Maoist insurgency.

The incident occurred at three pm on Sunday, when the jawans have been on Highway Opening Obligation from Camp Silger to Camp Tekalgudem. The blast of the Improvised Explosive Gadget (IED) planted by Naxalites resulted of their deaths.
